The shoe was released as part of an initiative supporting the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The Blazer Mid 77 Doernbecher Ayman features a predominantly black upper with purple accents. The shoe’s upper is made from leather and suede, which provide durability. The midsole features Nike’s Zoom Air technology, providing enhanced cushioning and support for the feet in motion. We think that the notable feature of the Nike Blazer Mid 77 Doernbecher Ayman is the branding. The shoe includes a graphic of Doernbecher Ayman’s face on the tongue and the sole includes the message, “Life is uncertain, make fast decisions in tough situations.” The Swoosh features on both sides in a glittery finish.
