From top to bottom, the adidas Y-3 Runner 4D Halo embraces a more abstract aesthetic than Y-3 designs have in the past. Its upper is composed of two layers of knit material: Primeknit and a loose-knit mesh outer layer acting as a kind of knit cage. The signature adidas three stripe branding is subtly displayed with white strings contrasting their black backdrop. Finally, a thick 3D-printed sole with spiked grooves adds the finishing touch. The adidas Y-3 Runner 4D Halo released in January of 2021 and retailed for $400.
