Designed for former MLB player Ken Griffey Jr, the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 Freshwater (2021/2025) is a retro-inspired sneaker from the Air Griffey Max 1 pack in a Freshwater colorway. This sneaker features an upper made of a synthetic Freshwater base with black nubuck overlays, ankle straps, heel pull tabs, and tongue. White accents appear on the laces, Griffeys jersey number “24” on the ankle straps, forefoot Swooshes, and the Nike checks on the heel and tongue. The heel Swoosh features Bold Red stitching. Rounding out the design is a black chunky sole unit with white pods throughout the midsole.
