The GEL-NIMBUS 3 and the GEL-MC PLUS V, two classic running sneakers in the ASICS catalog, serve as inspiration for this sneaker. In particular, the upper has a mesh top resembling that of the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and crisscrossing overlays modeled after the GEL-MC PLUS V. The overlays show glittering silver, but the mesh is Mid Grey. In terms of technology, the large midsole contains a blend of gel and lightweight foam in the back and forefoot. The foot is supported and cushioned responsively by these improvements.
