The ASICS Gel-NYC Mid Grey Sheet Rock is a performance running shoe that adds a grayscale colorway to the ASICS Gel-NYC silhouette.This sneaker draws inspiration from heritage running sneakers in the ASICS catalog, including the GEL-NIMBUS 3 and the GEL-MC PLUS V. Specifically, the upper features crisscrossing overlays inspired by the GEL-MC PLUS V and a mesh upper similar to the one found on the GEL-NIMBUS 3. While the mesh comes in Mid Grey, the overlays display metallic silver. In terms of technology, the bulky midsole houses a combination of lightweight foam and gel technology in the forefoot and rear. These additions provide responsive cushioning and support for the foot.Our Newsole experts like the color contrast between the Mid Grey, Sheet Rock, and metallic silver upper and the all-black rubber outsole.
