The Nike Air Max 97 Multi-Corduroy (Women’s) is a shoe for women made with a unique mix of materials including corduroy.This version of the Nike Air Max 97 is made with a layered corduroy upper. The wavy layers appear in different colors, and the direction of the fabric is also different, adding visual interest; directly under the laces, a dark pink layer is seen, then light pink, then mid-pink, light pink again, and then two layers of two shades of tan. A thick gray layer sits at the bottom forming the mudguard, while there is an opening above the arch on each side revealing beige corduroy. The lateral side is branded with the word Air in white stitching, while the other side features a white Nike swoosh. The padded tongue features a Nike swoosh and pull tab, while the heel features another pull tab with Air Max branding. A transparent Air Max unit runs under the entire shoe. Our favorite thing about this shoe is the mix of corduroy, which is a unique material from which to construct a sneaker.
