The Vans Authentic Black White is a classic skate shoe that gained popularity after its release in the 1960s and has been a staple of the brand ever since. This version of the Vans Authentic is a low-top silhouette and is made with a simple black canvas upper. This sturdy yet breathable material is often used in the production of summer footwear. White stitching attaches the different panels of canvas to each other and can be seen around the forefoot and heel. A small white Vans tag can be seen on the lateral side above the stitching. White metal eyelets secure the laces. A thick white rubber midsole rounds out the design, and a red Vans Off The Wall patch is found on the heel of the midsole. A waffle pattern appears on the sole for traction. What we like best about this sneaker is the red Vans patch on the heel, which adds a pop of color to the otherwise black and white shoe.
