The Salomon XT-6 Expanse Sandy Liang is part of a limited edition collaboration between Salomon and the fashion designer Sandy Liang. The Salomon XT-6 Expanse Sandy Liang has an outsole that is made of Contagrip, a highly abrasion-resistant rubber material that allows for grip and traction on a variety of surfaces. The midsole is fitted with Salomons OrthoLite footbed, making the shoe comfortable even on long hikes or runs. It is also fitted with Salomons EnergyCell+ technology, which offers superior energy return to propel the wearer forward and reduce foot fatigue. We think that one of the defining features of the Salomon XT-6 Expanse Sandy Liang is its construction. The upper is made of a durable nylon material, with synthetic overlays that provide extra support and protection to the foot. The shoe also features Salomons signature Sensifit technology, which cradles the foot for a precise and secure fit. The sneaker was released on May 5th, 2023 at a retail price of $175.
