This iteration of the Nike Book 1 has an upper constructed with suede paneling in a dark-gold color. The side panels are smooth, while fuzzier overlays form the toe box and heel counter. The Nike Swoosh appears in white on each side with an embroidered white border, while the Chevrolet brand name appears on the back of the heel in white. A blue Chevy logo is also seen on the tongue.
