Ambush draws inspiration from 1950 s military attire for the Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70s Hi Ambush White, now available on Newsole. Developed during the Korean War of the early 1950 s, Mickey Mouse boots (or Bunny Boots) became a vital part of the military s extreme cold weather clothing system. In preparation for this winter, Ambush has fused the classic design elements of Bunny Boots with the classic silhouette of the Converse All-Star Hi.This Converse All-Star 70s Hi features a coconut milk rubberized upper with matte detailing and printed external instructions paying homage to the functional construction of the bunny boot. A heightened platform midsole, bold Ambush branding on the heel, and waxed tubed laces complete the design. These sneakers released in October of 2019 and retailed for $180.
