The upper of this ASICS Gel-Kayano 14 model is made of white mesh. The toebox and midsole feature the iconic ASICS pattern of silver and black synthetic overlays. A flash of color is added by the Malachite Green overlays, which curve from the heel to the arch of the foot. While GEL is displayed on the heel and GEL-KAYANO 14 is displayed in black letters on one of the green overlays, the ASICS logo is also displayed on the tongue in the same shade of green. Malachite green, white, and gray make up the outsole. Additional shock absorption is also provided by the shoe’s gel technology cushioning.
