This iteration of the Spezial, which was first released in 1979 as an indoor handball shoe, stays true to its heritage with design cues from the past. The shoe, for instance, has a T-shaped toebox and an upper made of high-quality materials. The toebox is covered in shaggy suede in Magic Beige, while the foundation is composed of smooth leather in Cream. The leather serrated 3-Stripes logo on the side panels and the Metallic Gold „SPEZIAL“ print on the lateral side are two more noteworthy elements. In order to provide grip without detracting from the neutral top, the sneaker features a gum rubber outsole.
