The ASICS Gel-1130 Oyster Grey is a stability running shoe designed for both the track and the streets that pays homage to the 2008 iteration of the GEL-1000 series. The Oyster Grey colorway of the ASICS GEL-1130 features an upper that begins with a base of loosely woven white mesh, underlaid by more tightly woven gray mesh. This base is overlaid with strips of leather in shades of gray, brown, tan, and ivory to offer the signature ASICS style and foot support. The white mesh tongue sports GEL-1130 ASICS branding, while the brown mesh sock liner surrounds a tonal insole that sports white ASICS branding. The ASICS logo also appears at the bottom of the laces. The most impressive aspect of this running shoe is its sole. A foam midsole in shades of tan features GEL technology for ultimate cushioning, as well as a TRUSSTIC support system at the midfoot to help prevent the foot from twisting. This rests on an outsole of tan and dark brown rubber that adds to the impact absorption and provides durable traction. The ASICS Gel-1130 Oyster Grey was released on September 7, 2022, for $95 retail.
