The Jordan 5 Retro Plaid (GS), in grade school sizes, is a high top sneaker in multiple shades and patterns of plaid.Designed for NBA superstar Michael Jordan s aggressive performance on the basketball court, the Jordan 5 is known for its a shark tooth design on the outer midsole, which designer Tinker Hatfield revealed was inspired by a World War II Mustang fighter plane. The Retro Plaid rendition builds on the Jordan 5 s bold inspiration. Red plaid forms the foxing and vamp, accented by black and white plaid and mesh overlays and a brown plaid collar and tip. The tongue is black and white checker plaid. Tying the aesthetic together are orange laces with a transparent stay and black, gray, and orange midsoles and outsoles.
