The Nike Air Max Plus Black Gradient Red is an athletic shoe with TPU supports and Air Max technology. The lack Gradient Red Nike Air Max Plus has an upper made of mesh, which allows for breathability and flexibility. The mesh starts as black at the top near the laces and slowly fades into white near the bottom of the upper, hence the gradient. The sides are supported by shiny black TPU overlays that curve down the upper vertically from the eyestays and form a swirl pattern on top of the toe. The shoe features a shiny-black toe cap, a textured mudguard, and textured black heel support with Tuned Air branding. The Nike Swoosh appears in Red on each side, while the tongue also contains branding with red accents. Air Max units are seen under the heel and the forefoot. What stands out here is the speckled design of the arches, which add a nice touch compared to the black gradient and hits of red.
