Description
The Nike Ja 1 EYBL Melon Tint, a collaboration between Nike and NBA star Ja Morant, pays homage to the Elite Youth Basketball League. The Nike Ja 1 EYBL in a Melon / Fuchsia / Ice Jade / Black colorway sports an upper of melon mesh overlaid with tonal synthetic tumbled leather. Melon laces cross over a textile melon tongue that features a black tongue patch with Ja branding. A TPU fuchsia Nike swoosh graces one side panel and wraps around the multi-colored heel to grace the other side panel. Ja s jersey number 12 adorns each heel tab and Ja branding appears on the black tongue liner and black insole. The phylum midsole, black speckled and jade ice, houses a forefoot Zoom Air unit and sits atop a rubber outsole that’s jade ice on the forefoot and black on the heel. What we love most about this shoe is the black EYBL branding embroidered on the lateral heel of each shoe. The Nike Ja 1 EYBL Melon Tint was released on July 25, 2023 for retail price of $120.
