As part of a partnership between adidas and Fear of God, the adidas Fear of God Athletics 86 Lo Clay combines the two labels house codes, creating a minimalist sneaker with a neutral colorway. Drawing inspiration from the adidas Rivalry Lows silhouette, designer Jerry Lorenzo kept some of the basketball shoe design elements. However, he also added a thick sole in Clay and crafted the upper using premium, tonal materials. For example, the upper boasts a premium-suede build, including the signature 3-Stripes logo, the eyelets, and the heel counter.
