The Jordan 2 Retro Black Cement was created in honor of the Air Jordan 3s 35th anniversary. This model has an almost all black body placed next to an off-white midsole with a gray and red sole. The Retro Air Jordan 2 in Black Cement has a shape that is reminiscent of the original 1987 Air Jordan style. The upper body of the shoe is made from Jet Black leather. There are Cement Gray accents that line the midfoot and are included on the tongue and the heel foxing. The laces are the same Jet Black as the body. The sneaker has a high profile, which helps to achieve fast movement on the basketball court, AIR pods for cushioning, and a round toebox with perforations for breathability.
