Description

The New Balance 2002R Black Metallic pushes the silhouette into a more modern and slightly futuristic direction, using black tones paired with metallic accents to create depth and contrast. The layered upper highlights the technical structure of the 2002R, giving it a dynamic look that shifts depending on lighting. It stays rooted in performance design while leaning into lifestyle appeal. Fans appreciate how this colorway adds energy without sacrificing versatility. The metallic elements elevate the design just enough to make it stand out, while the black base keeps it wearable across different styles. The 2002R continues to thrive as a crossover model, and this version reinforces its place in both comfort and design focused rotations. It is a strong option for those who want a subtle but distinctive sneaker. The New Balance 2002R Black Metallic was released on January 30, 2026 with a retail price of $145.
