The New Balance 991 Slam Jam reflects Italian retailer Slam Jams ethos of “(Un)corporate Uniforms”, an ongoing research project with the aim to understand and help define the concept of uniform. The upper of the New Balance 991 Slam Jam features a mix of black dyed ripstop nylon, nubuck, and rubber with silver reflective overlays. A reflective New Balance logo is prominent on the quarter panel. A grey and black ENCAP sole provides support to wrap this design. The New Balance 991 Slam Jam released in May of 2021 and retailed for $180.
