Pure Platinum is used for the tongue and heel collar, while transparent Cool Grey transforms a gum rubber outsole. Eastside Golf branding appears on the tongue and rear collar. American footwear brand Nike is known for collaborations. Atlanta-based Eastside Golf was founded by Morehouse College alums Olajuwon Ajanaku and Earl A. Cooper, a PGA Professional. Their collaborative version of the 1 86 OG features Nike Swoosh hardware that makes it interchangeable with other colors of Swooshes, which carry different symbolism.
