Description
The Nike Cortez Basic Forrest Gump (GS) is a running shoe that pays homage to the movie character Forrest Gump. The Cortez Basic Forrest Gump comes in grade-school sizes and features a white leather upper, with Varsity Red Swooshes on both sides and a Varsity Red heel tab. The shoe incorporates a lightweight design and a foam midsole that provides ample cushioning and shock absorption. This feature contributes to a more comfortable running experience by reducing the impact on the feet and joints, minimizing the risk of injury. The rubber outsole of the shoe offers traction, ensuring grip on various surfaces and preventing slips or skids. We think that the standout feature of the Nike Cortez Basic Forrest Gump (GS) is its streamlined design. The shoe’s design is inspired by the classic 1972 Nike Cortez silhouette, which was created for runners. The shoe features a low-cut silhouette that has a slightly pointed toe, giving it a streamlined look. The shoe was released on January 1st, 2018 at a retail price of $60.
