Description

The Nike KD 16 B.A.D. pays homage to Kevin Durant’s grandmother, Barbara A. Davis, with her initials B.A.D. proudly displayed on the left tongue.Dominated by a lush Field Purple color, a beloved choice of Barbara A. Davis, the B.A.D. Nike KD 16 is accented with Rush Fuchsia details, infusing a vibrant touch. A mesh base in the design creates a subtle and refined contrast. Deeper purple tones grace the tongue, eyestays, sock liner, vamp, and lace set, adding layers of depth and opulence to the overall aesthetic. Combining both meaning and functionality, the shoe incorporates a purple foam midsole matched with a coordinating rubber outsole for comfort and traction. KD’s logo graces the right tongue, while the left tongue bears the B.A.D. inscription. This same acronym is prominently featured on the purple insoles, reinforcing the heartfelt tribute to his grandmother. The notable feature of the Nike KD 16 B.A.D. is its sincere tribute to Barbara A. Davis, as the design and color scheme are crafted to honor and celebrate her lasting legacy. The sneaker debuted for $160 on October 27th, 2023.
