The adidas Fear of God Athletics Los Angeles Clay is a unisex lifestyle shoe in a clay colorway produced in tandem by sportswear giant adidas and the Athletics branch of Fear of God. Fear of God founder Jerry Lorenzo and team paired up with adidas to release a modern take on the classic Los Angeles trainer silhouette. Starting from the bottom, the outsole is clay colored with wave like traction that leads into a chunky midsole boasting cushioning EVA material. The monochromatic clay color continues on through to the upper which features ripstop fabric as its base with suede overlays appearing around the toe, heel, eyelet and as the iconic three stripes. A padded tongue and tonal clay laces with a toggle complete this shoe. We think that the rubberized black bar with Fear of God branding on the heel is on-brand and adds a touch of sophistication to this minimalistic designed trainer. Released on March 3, 2024, the adidas Fear of God Athletics Los Angeles Clay sold for $170 retail.
