Under arena lights, the Nike KD 17 Late Night gives us a streamlined design tailored for Kevin Durant s late-game dominance. This model is built for control and speed and balances stability and responsive movement with a layered design. The upper on the Late Night KD 17 by Nike uses black engineered mesh reinforced with grey synthetic overlays. There’s a red gradient TPU wing that helps with lateral movement, while the padded collar adds ankle support. The outsole incorporates a topographic traction pattern designed for a multi-directional grip. The Zoom Air in the forefoot and Air Strobel in the heel give you added impact protection. There’s KD branding on the heel and tongue. One of the things we like about the Nike KD 17 Late Nightis the added rigidity of the internal midfoot shank during fast transitions. We also like the sock liner s molded shape, which improves foot alignment. It retailed at $150 when it was released on the 1st of August, 2024.
