The adidas Superstar sneaker was first introduced to the world in 1970. adidas Originals celebrated the 50th anniversary of this sneaker by releasing a Run-DMC-inspired collection in 2020. The adidas Superstar Jam Master Jay Run DMC (2020) is one of the sneakers that was a part of this exclusive collection. This limited-edition adidas Superstar has a black leather upper with strong pops of white on the heel, Three Stripes logos, and tongue. It also has the word „SUPERSTAR“ over top of the Three Stripes on the lateral side of the shoe done up in white with red lines above and beneath it. In our expert opinion, though, the best aspect of this shoe is the portrait of the late Jam Master Jay that appears on the tongue. It makes this sneaker even more special while cementing the connection that Run-DMC and adidas will share forever. The adidas Superstar Jam Master Jay Run DMC (2020) was released on October 30, 2020, for a $110 retail price.
