The foundation of the comfort-enhancing Smoke Gray ASICS Gel-NYC is made of lightweight, breathable Smoke Gray mesh. Cream-colored leather and suede at the mudguard and eyestays are layered over the smoke gray leather that runs the length of the upper. A tight fit over the mesh tongue is ensured with cream-colored laces. The cushioning midsole is made of cream-colored undulating foam and has shiny gray GEL inserts in the heel and forefoot for optimal cushioning. The outsole of this sneaker is made of gray rubber pods that are positioned between deep grooves to provide flexibility.
