The ASICS Gel-NYC Yankees takes inspiration from GEL silhouettes of the past, and dresses it in the colors of the New York Yankees.This retro-looking running shoe features an upper inspired by the GEL-Nimbus 3 and the GEL-MC Plus V. A white mesh upper that promotes maximum airflow is overlaid with synthetics and suede in shades of dark blue. Synthetic and leather overlays in shades of gray course across the side panel give this sneaker the distinctive ASICS look. The midsole in white and shades of gray combines GEL technology in both the forefoot and the rear foot in order to provide springy cushioning and energy return with each step you take.
