The New Balance 2002R Mule Rain Cloud is an updated version of the 2002R that offers a slip-on design without a heel.Like other 2002R models, the mule variation in Rain Cloud provides a mesh upper, overlapping suede and leather overlays, and cutouts. The mule does not house a lace cage, laces, any part of the heel, or a collar. The underfoot includes an ABZORB midsole that adds a slightly technical look. A rubber outsole grips the ground and provides a pop of black against the otherwise grey-toned base. The New Balance „N“ is embroidered on the side panel, and perforations decorate the area that usually contains the laces.Our experts like the Rain Cloud and Marblehead colorway, which is slightly lighter than other grey-toned versions of the sneaker.
